Authors Instruction

International Journal of Engineering and Innovative Technology (IJEIT), ISSN 2277-3754 (Online), is an international journal, published by IJEIT publication, since January 2012.  It is a peer-reviewed scholarly & online open access refereed international journal published monthly for researchers, developers, technical managers, scientists and educators in the area of engineering and innovative technology.                                                                 

Paper Submission Policy

Papers for the regular monthly issues of the journal can be submitted, around the year, online at submit@ijeit.com, submit_ijeit@yahoo.com The author is responsible for obtaining any necessary copyright releases for material which has been published previously, prior to submitting material for consideration.  Submission of a paper implies that the work described has not been published previously and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere that its publication has been approved by all co-authors, if any, as well as by the responsible authorities tacitly or explicitly at the institute where the work has been carried out. If a paper is finally accepted, the authorities, where the work had been carried out, shall be responsible for not publishing the work elsewhere in the same form. Paper, once submitted for consideration in Journal IJEIT, cannot be withdrawn unless the same is finally rejected.

Online Paper Submission: Authors are invited to submit full text papers (.doc, .pdf) by e-mail at submit@ijeit.com, submit_ijeit@yahoo.com. Authors can download paper template at download section at www.ijeit.com. Paper template consists of following points.

  • Language: Papers should be written in American English.
  • Front page of paper: The front page should include an informative and relevant title, the name(s) of author(s), the affiliation(s), e-mail address and contact number(s) of all authors.
  • Abstract: This Section should be 100 to 500 words. The purposes of an abstract is to provide a clear indication of the objective, scope, and results of the paper so that readers may determine whether the full text will be of particular interest to them; The abstract should not attempt to condense the whole subject matter into a few words for quick reading.
  • Keywords: Author should include 4 to 6 keywords which can be used for indexing purposes.
  • Introduction: Author should include the objectives of the paper and provide a sufficient background.
  • Literature survey: Author should include comprehensive literature survey of paper.
  • Methodology: A Theory Section or Proposed methodology should expand, not repeat the information mentioned in Introduction.
  • Result: Results should be clear and to the point.
  • Conclusion and Future Scope: The major conclusions of the paper should be presented in a Conclusion Section. In this section, the author should also briefly discuss the limitations of the research and Future Scope for enhancement.
  • Acknowledgement: If required, authors may provide acknowledgements at the end of the article, before the references. The organizations / individuals who provided help during the research (e.g. providing language help, writing assistance, proof reading the article, sponsoring the research, etc.) may be acknowledged here.
  • References:  References should be less than 20, unless the manuscript is a review article, and also should be listed in numerical order according to their order of appearance. The numbered reference citation should be enclosed in brackets. The references in the reference list should follow the standard IEEE reference style of the journal and citation of a reference. Web references- As a minimum, the full URL should be given and the date when the reference was last accessed. Any further information, if known (DOI, author names, dates, reference to a source publication, etc.), should also be given. Text- Indicate references by number(s) in square brackets in line with the text. Example: 

[1] S. Chen, B. Mulgrew, and P. M. Grant, “A clustering technique for digital communications channel equalization using radial basis function networks,” IEEE Trans. on Neural Networks, vol. 4, pp. 570-578, July 1993.

  • Appendix: If there are multiple appendices, they should be represented as 1, 2, 3 etc. Formulae and equations in appendices should be given separate numbering: Eq. (1.1), Eq. (1.2), etc.; in a subsequent appendix, and so on. Similar nomenclature should be followed for tables and figures: Table 1, Fig. 1 etc.
  • Mathematical Formula: Express all mathematical formula using efficient Equation editor in the line of normal text. Number successively any equations that have to be referred in the text.
  • Captions and Numbering for Figure and Tables: Author Ensure that each figure / table has been numbered and captioned. A caption should comprise a brief title and a description of the illustration. Figures and tables should be numbered separately, but consecutively in accordance with their appearance in the text.
  • Copyright: Copyright of all accepted papers will belong to IJEIT and the author(s) must confirm that accepted papers for publication in IJEIT must not be re-published elsewhere without the written consent of the editor in chief. To fulfill with this policy, authors will be required to submit a signed copy of Copyright Transfer Form, after acceptance of their paper, before the same is published. Authors can download copyright form at download section at www.ijeit.com.

FONT SIZE AND FORMATTING DESCRIPTION

  • Paper Page Setup must be in A4 size with Margins should be as follows: Top 1.78 cm, Bottom 1.78 cm, Left 1.65 cm, Right 1.65 cm.
  • Paper must be in two Columns after Title of Paper & Authors Name and Affiliation.
  • Title of Paper should be in 24 Points.
  • Author Name and Affiliation should be in 11 Points.
  • Text of the Paper: Font Name Times New Roman, Font Size 10, Line Spacing 1.05
  • Length of paper is limited to 20 Pages.
  • Abstract and Keywords: Font Name Times New Roman, Font Size 9, Single Line Spacing with Bold Italic.
  • All MAIN HEADING must be in Upper Case, Centre, and Roman Numbering (I, II, III…etc) Before Spacing 6, After Spacing 6.
  • All Sub Heading must be in Title Case.
  • List of References must be present. References must be in Font Size 9, Hanging 0.25 with single line spacing.
  • Author Profile must be in Font Size 8, with line spacing 1.5.

Copyright Policy

Each Paper must be accompanied by a statement that it has been neither published nor submitted for publication, in whole or in part, either in a serial, professional journal or as a part in a book which is formally published and made available to the public. For the mutual benefit and protection of authors and publishers it is necessary that authors provide formal written consent to publish and transfer of Copyright Form before publication of the work. In return for these rights:

  • The right to use all or section of this article/Paper, which includes tables and figures in future works of their own, provided that the appropriate acknowledgment is made to the Publisher as copyright holder.
  • The right to make copies of this article/Paper for his/her personal use, but not for sale.
  • It is the responsibility of each author to make sure that papers submitted to the journal are written with ethical standards in mind, regarding plagiarism. Please note that all submissions are thoroughly checked for plagiarism. Any paper which shows signs of plagiarism will be robotically rejected and its authors may be banned for duration of 01 years from publishing in Journal. The authors will receive proper notification if such a situation arises.
  • For any dispute or related violence, it will be discussed and considered only in front of ‘Judiciary of Bhopal’ at Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India

Final submission of Paper: After completion of Review process authors receive acceptance/rejection of paper. If paper is accepted then Author should fill copyright form and prepare final paper according to Journal template and submit at e-mail editor2ijeit@gmail.com, editor@ijeit.com
